Angry Birds' New Rival: Aiko Island

Games have made a really great deal to this generation. It is necessary to create a game that would be popular to everyone. Angry Birds, a game where you aim and shoot with the use of birds, is one of them. On February 2010, Angry Birds was a nominee for the "Best Casual Game" award at the 6th annual International Mobile Gaming Awards in Barcelona, Spain. In September 2010 IGN named it as the 4th best Iphone Game of all time. In April 2011, Angry Birds won both the "Best Game App" and "App of the Year" So basically Angry Birds is popular. That is why Aiko Island was made and it was made to rival Angry Birds and become really popular.

Pop the red fur balls. Save the blue ones. Seems simple enough — until you start really digging into the depths of Aiko Island, a physics-driven IOS puzzle game that challenges your mind almost as much as it exercises your thumbs.

This game has been published on October 11, 2011. But why are they creating rivalry against Angry Birds? Well in my opinion, of course their first goal is money. Second, they want their company to gain popularity and lastly of course they want to provide entertainment. Aiko Island might get more popular without copying Angry Birds right so i wonder why they copied it.
